My essential question was not one easily answered. There is no exact answer to the question, it is really just based on opinion. However, I have found that prosecutors are very fond of their job and they love fighting for justice. My mentor, and other assistant district attorneys I shadowed around the office were all very passionate about one thing, and that is making sure they did all they could to prosecute those who have committed crimes, therefore bringing justice. One of the assistant district attorneys has a magnet on her filing cabinet that reads, "Catch and release is for fish, not criminals." I believe that this is the driving force behind the passion for this career.
